Over the course of the week – starting on Thursday I began my healthy living journey/challenge. My schedule for the week looked like this:
Day 1: Change lightbulbs, Grow your own food
Day 2: Going Vegan, going ZERO trash
Day 3: Going with no lights for the day, collecting water
Day 4: Donate Clothes, Clean up trail system
Day 5: Hanging Laundry, Showers
Day 6: Raw Vegan Diet
Day 7: Walking Home, Blogging
Later on, I will make a separate post highlighting the challenges and resources, but meanwhile, enjoy this Wordless Wednesday! You should totally begin to live a sustainable lifestyle. It can be super simple and quick, yet very effective and low-cost!
^Lefty-Loosey, Righty-tighty, gotta get rid of that darn light bulb!
^LED’s will do the job juuuuust fine!
\
^Ooh that shine!
^The fruit of my eye….
^Vegan breaky (#thatveganlife)
^Vegan dinner
^Shopping waste free AND Vegan
^Oh glorious rainy days! Planning on using this water for plants and such…
^And of course I have to pick the rainy day for the day which I use absolutely no lighting! T’was just playing cards for 2 hours after it got dark at 1pm… and then an early bedtime.
^Going round the trails picking up trash!
^SO satisfying to put all that garbage in the trash (and yes, I’m wearing barn attire because I just got back but no judging!)
^Whoo-hoo! Must be helping out day! Donating clothes sure feels good 🙂
^Always hang your laundry (and yes, we did do laundry on a Monday night… oh well!)
^I’ve been showering only 2x a week this week (I mean, I do swim so its not like I get nothing) to conserve water. When I do shower, I use a shower timer, the lowest water setting, and cold water!
^Raw vegan diet to conserve cooking resources. Literally my whole entire dinner.
^Walked the 1.5 hours home but it was soooo worth it! 🙂 I could probably keep it up if it wasn’t so cold out.
That’s my Wordless Wednesday folks! I’ll explain more in detail of my activities in a later blog post.
Happy American Thanksgiving to our neighbours!
